Experience

I can say humbly and without ego that I'm not your average musician. I started my musical training on the accordion at the age of 6 under the tutelage of Walter Brown, himself a musician who had his own television show in the 1950's called the Great Western Roundup with Walter Brown and his Orchestra

It was clear from the moment I was born that Polka music was to be my destiny. Almost as soon as my father cut the cord, he was imparting his love of our Slovenian/Macedonian heritage and the music from those cultures.

For the past 30 years, We've refined our technique and musicianship while taking it upon our ensemble to perfect our performances. The result of our labors is a string of successful performances, from performing for State Senators and House Speakers to our most recent performing for the State of Indiana Bicentennial Celebration.

You music was just GREAT last night at the Miller's Senior Living! Mother and I enjoyed it as did all the residents!!!!!!!!! I've been to many Oktober Fests both in the US and in Germany and your music was as good as any I've heard!! Such happy upbeat tunes and excellent accordion music!!!

Bob, I just wanted to let you know that now that the dust has settled and I have heard comments about the party that everyone was very pleased with Polkamotion - both young and old and those in the middle!!! We also appreciated your helping teach the polka and dancing with several of our employees so they could get the steps too. I had a lot of comments that this was the best "holiday" party in a long time! I also enjoyed the songs you played near the end of the evening!
I would especially like to thank you for playing Volare!!! It brought back many happy memories of my summer childhood in the late 50's early 60's of going to the movie drive-in where Volare was always the song they played while waiting for the sun to set so we could start the movie. Music was a big part of my life because from the time I was 6 to 16 we did not have a TV and as a family we listened to music all the time - everything from opera to show tunes.
